Grim jack-o'-lanterns smiling from the shadows
Creatures hiding beyond the dark
Yearn for the season to embark
Scratching and clawing at the veil
You should never fear them
You should let them in now
Hallows′ Eve every day of the week
I shudder to think of anything more bleak
There would be endless screams
Now wouldn't that be a dream?
Your heart would surely bust right out of your chest

Children of the night
Prepare for a fright

Trick or treat until you lose your head
Then circle ′round and do it all again
There is no need to hide
Every day a dark disguise
Just take the leap and then you can fall forever
Bring a date even if they′re dead
Bring a friend with or without their head
Six feet under from out they dig
You should never fear them

Autumn leaves and dark delicacies
Until you're surely splitting at the seams
Now it is not a sin to leap right out of your skin
To join the parade of skeletons
