Poster Songtext
Two hands and face to face
Two eyes are a good embrace
Twice life size poster
To hang on every wall
Hand in hand to see him now
Pirouette and take your bow
by verse you come undone
Til the hourglass turns
And the next dance begins
A flour stained face to clean
Another poem to go unseen
But fate had dealt your hand
And now you sleep in water and sand
If hand to mouth could fill you up
Then head to knee I′ll double up
Breathe and bend in standard time
And I'll watch the spotlight fade to black
And as the spotlight fades to black
You begin again
Two eyes are a good embrace
Twice life size poster
To hang on every wall
Hand in hand to see him now
Pirouette and take your bow
by verse you come undone
Til the hourglass turns
And the next dance begins
A flour stained face to clean
Another poem to go unseen
But fate had dealt your hand
And now you sleep in water and sand
If hand to mouth could fill you up
Then head to knee I′ll double up
Breathe and bend in standard time
And I'll watch the spotlight fade to black
And as the spotlight fades to black
You begin again
