Hope Is Like the Sun Songtext

Hope Is Like the Sun Songtext

I took a drive from Reseda
Straight through the Getty View park
I′ve never been a map reader
But I was finding my way out of the dark
Staring on my back at the palm trees
It was music to my ears to see 'em
Don′t own a home but I carry four sets of keys
I wish that one was for the museum

And I'm heading to the end of the trail
I found at Santa Monica Pier
An end is a start for a lonely heart,
But I feel you, I feel you, I feel you like you're still here
So I keep praying that

Hope is like the sun, gotta get some sleep to find the morning light
Hope is like the sun, If you only believe it when you see it,
You′ll never make it through the night

Took a vegan option at The Hard Rock
All I could think of was the sound of your name
Then someone asked me if I wanted to sing
The band were plugging in to start
I sang a song that reminds me of you
I'd never sang so much with all my heart

And I sent you a picture that moves
Of a sunset on Venice Beach. I threw my wish into the sea
And it′s you, it's you, it′s you that I want it to reach
So I keep praying that

Hope is like the sun, gotta a get some sleep to find the morning light
Hope is like the sun, If you only believe it when you see it,
You'll never make it through the night

No I don′t wanna lose you. Tonight I'm singing up at a star
I don't wanna lose you. Hope you can hear wherever you are
I made a stop on the Ocean Drive.
The fortune teller gave me a reading
She said a lot of things about my life,
she said the wanting hides all the needing

She said...
