Children of the Tempest Songtext

The night will fall like an autumnal cloak
The stars will arise among smoke
The poetry that is written in light
Will illuminate me in the dark

Yet, the only path open in front of me
It seemingly reveals the end
If death is the place where I have to arrive
I will leave at daybreak

Still today, we are all gathering here
We will burst into songs that will knock cities down
The foundations of humanity
Now hear me

The moon is coming and night is to fall
My good fortune has finally called
Hundred wishes and will to survive
All together forever alive

Where is the hope coming from now?
A place where all reason dies
Is it the arrival of lies
That stops my heart with its cries

The death will not be able to snatch
The chimeras from our distant past
Children of tempest here we all are
Soul and body reaching for the stars

It is not the god′s handwriting
The one that will finally write
Neither destiny's sad craving
Nor an accidental chance
Just the actions of the present
Will eventually award
Our place in this story
No one could ever ignore

Still today, we are all gathering here
We will burst into songs that will knock cities down
The foundations of humanity
Finally
All we need
Memory

The wind will finally blow just for us
And will only bring surrender thus
Thousand howling will sound like one voice
Thunderstorm of delight and rejoice

It is not the god′s handwriting
The one that will finally write
Neither destiny's sad craving
Nor an accidental chance
Just the actions of the present
Will eventually award
Our place in this story
No one could ever ignore

Still today, we are all gathering here
We will burst into songs that will knock cities down
The foundations of humanity
Finally
All we need
Memory
Loyalty
