A north wind cracks my lips
But your warm skin soothes as I kiss you
We sew through the boughs and tree limbs
Just to find out where we have been

The air is laced with your breath
The smell of vanilla laid siege on your neck
We warm our feet as we lay in my bed
And refuse to sleep til the early AM
