The year was 1748
When I received a call
I had been playing Angry Birds
But how could I be here at all?

I knew the voice but not the name
My battery was low
They told me to come back right now
I wasn′t sure if I should go

It seems that I am just a traveller in time
Detritus through the aeons
Causing epochs to unwind

I've lost all sense of purpose
And all will to exist
A fugitive in hiding
Anachronistic nihilist abyss

I saw the birth of dinosaurs
With I myself not born
I watched the fiery madness
As the continents were formed


Once I had killed Hitler
Then hid myself away
Somewhere in the recess of the past

When I returned I found the world
In even worse decay
And left again forever as an outcast

And now I travel with my phone
And listen to the sounds
That people from the future
Never had the chance to make

But now I know there is another one like me
She wants to start the human race again

And as the battery dies
I see my phone recharge
And next to me the woman
Takes my hand

She says ′I know a place
Where all that ever could have been
Is waiting just for you
And just for me'

And build for us a new eternity

It seems we are just travellers in time
Destroying all the aeons

And as we travelled to this world
I wondered to myself
′Have we just left existence
Or did we kill time itself?;

But we have a new purpose
And only we exist
