How I crossed the edge
Through the gleaming portal
Not planning to come back
Lost my wife and daughter
Became a broken man
All my skills with sword and shield
Had been useless ′gainst the plague

Stumbled through the swirling light
Entered a forest glade
I saw a bow and arrow
Aiming at my face
Dangerous and beautiful
A woman full of pride
Carefully I raised my hands
Toward an unknown sky


The elven realm gave me back my life
