Released now, finally been given a reprieve


Pouring hot water on the anthills all the time
Finding the way that you could rationalize the crime

New things emerging as the others are replaced
Hidden from the light, let the sky absorb the waste
Declaring victory, you call out the commands
The soap's still dripping as you wash the other hand

Covered the images they didn′t want you to see
Until you finally raised your head above the weeds
Creeping along, the slow, dark vessel moving by

A presence following you every where you go
