Every time I think of quitting
I think about the mission
I think about the reason I was put in this position
I understand to keep a positive disposition
Means I gotta learn to dodge the mockers and criticism
I gotta learn to study the prophets and hidden wisdom
On top of that the difference of talking and living Christian
Jesus was in the trenches walking amongst the sinners
Maybe I should hit the club and try to show them something different
Make a difference with my grammar
I do this for my grandma
I thought about that line when I was riding home from work
Hours later got the call that her spirit left the Earth


So forgive me if them hoes ain′t the topic of my verse
But I should keep it on the surface right
People want to party, it don't matter what I′m hurting like
This ain't for everybody, more like for a certain type
Ghetto brain food, I don't cater to suburbanites
I′ve worked too hard, I swear that I deserve the life
