It's been ten years ago when I, I got on a train and left it all behind. I got off at the end of the line, it has been some time.
I had to leave my home, so that I could survive, but every mile going by, it feels like a part of my life…

… just disappears, it's just about the distance that I'm traveling.
All our tears, collide, the rain gets heavier.

We'll have to take the long road.
I'll arrive in my best clothes.
And every traffic light that goes green…
… is just a little spark of hope, I'll get home

The forest never ends or so it seems. It's dark, there's no light, I can't see. I'm trapped, so are you, we can't break free.
The dust starts to go and fill my lungs, I tremble, can't breathe, I'm not the only one. I'll hold on until the end of days, until I can see your face.

I will return, it's not that far now.
My heart burns, even the rain can't extinguish.
