where the moon hides its face
and the stars shine through everything clear
This light will drown and
ignite this dead town
into a brightness its been missing for years

Show me the world
through the eyes of a child
full of wonder and hope
without fear.

And I know this sight
would engulf me in light
into a brightness ive been missing for years

And to know what they say is the truth
You′ll find me in the back of my car
waiting there for you
and you know that its hard
to believe


But if we stand back then just maybe we can see
The whole of anything

Drifting thorugh space
without purpose or grace
with eventual war drawing near
I know we can fight
if we search through the night
starlight to our backs and in our tears

And you know what they say isn't new
The finding stands and in the darkness waiting for the truth

We can make it out if only we just breathe
